Day 11

Again a beautiful day although rainy season started a week ago.
We took the train to Seba where we left off yesterday and started our journey. You don’t even know how happy I am to continue (cry emoji).
My foot swelling seems to have nearly gone and I hope the weird feeling in my Achilles will be gone soon too. When I walk I feel great though we walk slowly and carefully with many breaks.

“Only 170km to Nagoya :(“

The road keeps winding between huge mountains towards Nagoya direction.
For lunch we found a small old restaurant along the road which finally was cheap again (everything seems so overpriced here). I really love those trucker restaurants here. They have some “taste” (as in feeling) which the boring chain stores in the city can’t give you.

We continued all the way to Narai-juku today, the most beautifully preserved old village I have seen until now. It’s like going back in time!
Everything closes around 5pm though and there is no convenience store anywhere near.
We have the whole huge Minshuku hotel for us though – the corridors are so long it’s like living in a castle haha.
