「FKI展 & ルミロック」Year end kimono funAnji SALZ
Time seems to fly faster and faster these weeks. It’s December and suddenly I feel overwhelmed with work – but that’s a great thing after having a little too silent past months.
Colder weather and the years final month calls for kimono events and the popular “忘年会” Year-end parties!
So I found myself running around between 4 appointments yesterday.
One was the FKI展 – Fashion & Kimono & Ikimono exhibit which is basically a joint pop up store in the famous Isetan shopping mall.
It is led by Kimono blogger and director CHOKO and the fashion brand Agris along with Highcalorie Otome and Hasegawa Aya.
I tried the new “arctic” kimono from Highcalorie Otome which has lovely huskies on the bottom and embroidered husky heads on the front. I love the design!
Time for some photo fun!
Afterwards I had to rush off to the next event which I will cover in a separate post – so let’s check my outfit.
And actually I was so in a rush I barely had time to take proper pictures..
I paired a leo print kimono with a black Hannya mask obi. Because it was rather cold and windy – topped up with a velvet michiyuki and a fur stole to keep me warm.
On my feet I wore Jotaro Saito leather tabi and my own design zouri.
The last event was located in Asakusa so I passed the “Kaminarimon”. The most tourists had left already so it was rather silent.
Rumi Rock x Machiko Sentou Christmas Party was up next.
A loooooot of fancy and cool people gathered over drinks and food. It was a great time!
ルミロック x マチコセントウ Christmas Partyだよ。
Next to Rumi, the designer and head behind Rumi Rock. She was also wearing leopard print! Haha!
Thank you all for having me! It was lovely to chat to so many kimono enthusiasts.
