「７月着物コーデ」Kimono Styles July 2016
I regularly post my kimono coordinates on my Instagram & Twitter but fail to do so on my blog. So I thought I would show all the styles I wore in July here in a complete post.
着物コディネートの写真はよくインスタグラムやツイッターなどに載せますが、ブログにUPするのはいつも忘れちゃいます。そのため、今回「７月着物コーデのまとめ」として紹介したいと思います。
LET’S START ☆
For a meeting I chose a rather toned down summer kimono and spiced it up with a cute gold fish obi. The bag is from zoczoc and is made by artisans in a traditionally woven manner like for obi belts. No bag is like another.
会議の為、落ち着いた色の夏着物を選びました。金魚の帯で少し可愛くに♡
バッグはzoczocです。西陣織で伝統的なアイテムです。

For a casual shopping day I chose this vintage yukata and tied the hanhaba obi in the “kai no kuchi” style so I can wear a backpack. I haven’t been much of a yukata fan, but recently enjoy how carefree and relaxed you can dress in them.
友達とショッピングしやすい浴衣コーデです。リュックで行きたかったので、帯結びは貝の口しました。今年の初浴衣コーデでした。楽ですわ。

Rainy day coordinate. A slightly more chilly day of Japans rainy season – my last chance to wear the denim kimono before it gets too hot, I figured. Until that day I never wore a pre-tied obi. Looks alright but I’m not a big fan..
(Btw. the rain stopped and it actually turned out to be quite hot. haha)
雨の日コーデ。梅雨のやや涼しめの日にちでしたので、夏になる前にデニム着物を着るの最後のチャンスかと思いました。
始めて作り帯を試してみたけど、やはり自分で結んだ方がいいと思います。
ちなみにお昼すぎから天気はよくなり、かなり暑かったです。（笑）

Off to a small house party in an antique striped summer kimono paired with a skull obi made of tenugui (hand towel) fabric.
I was super lazy and didn’t know what to do with my hair, but oh well.
小さなホウスパーティーに誘って頂いて、アンティーク着物と手ぬぐいで作られた名古屋帯のコーデにしました。
スカルの着物アイテムはずっと欲しかったので嬉しい！髪の毛をやるモチベーションはなく、適当アレンジです。

A friend from Okayama came to Tokyo and we met for some yummy lunch and chat. A black ro summer kimono which is slightly see-through (and has a red striped pattern inside) paired with a crochet like Nagoya obi in red.
The obi is so stiff and rough I nearly scraped my skin open from tying but its just too gorgeous to be mad about it, haha!
Usually you choose contrast colours for obiage and obijime, but I wanted to try something different. The lip obidome and tooth kanzashi are handmade by me.
岡山から友達がきて、一緒に原宿でランチや散歩しました。
黒い夏着物を赤い名古屋帯をマッチ、帯揚げと帯締めも同じ色にしてみました。シンプルなコディネートです。
唇の帯留めと歯の簪は私の手作りアイテムです。

Because I barely have any yukata, I ordered myself this cool checkered one from Rakuten. It arrived just in time for a fireworks festival and I paired it with the gold fish obi for the summer feels.
Also I had the urge to try Nihongami by myself and it worked out rather okay. (Will post a “how to” about it soon!)
浴衣を殆ど持ってない私は周りの人を見てから、Kimonomachiの楽天でカッコイイ浴衣を買っちゃいました。隅田川花火大会に間に合って届いたのです！
始めて日本髪を自分でアレンジしてみました。完璧ではないけど、満足しました。この浴衣と日本髪で江戸時代の下町の子みたいですね。素敵〜♡

A quick and simple style for another meeting on a hot but windy day.
The yukata is by the designer “Tsumori Chisato” and if you look closely you might spot the cats?
風が強い日にちの会議コーデです。（浴衣でビジネス会議するのは最高ですわ。）

Again the green yukata? You may think – but I don’t own many and its just too comfy!
This time I went to “bon odori”, a traditional summer dance festival.
Paired with the yukata this time is a houndstooth obi with I also acquired just a few days back.
I am wearing an obidome in my hair because I don’t spend much money on accessories.
またこの浴衣？？
そうですね〜 浴衣は三つしか持ってないので、少しつまらないかもしれません。
今回は築地の盆踊りへ行ってまいりました。始めての盆踊りで感謝しました。楽しすぎる〜☆
帯は千鳥の新品です！気に入りですよ。
髪の毛に帯留めを飾りました。（笑）小物をあまり買わない私に可笑しくないです。（笑）
